The pond behind Chateau Garage (…yeah, right!!). Actually this was photographed by one of Chateau Garage’s wine makers at Chateau Montelena in Napa.

Results from the August 30th, 2008, Chateau Garage tasting — Chardonnay — held at the San Jose State/UC Davis tailgate.

Well, our first tasting this year featured just four bottles, but was a great start for the season.  All of the wines were more in the crisp, fruity style, vs. the heavy, buttery style with lots of oak and full malolactic frermentation.
